Blunham Inframe Shaker Kitchen
Welcome to our Blunham kitchen project, a kitchen we designed and crafted for our wonderful clients, Connie and Mick. This is the second kitchen we've had the pleasure of creating for them, something we’re truly proud of.
Mick’s eye for detail is second to none, and he played a key role in shaping the design of the bespoke breakfast bar. His input ensured it was not only visually striking, but also perfectly proportioned to seat six bar stools comfortably-combining sociable function with timeless style.
Island Breakfast Bar
We designed this bowed island breakfast bar for our Blunham kitchen project as a truly sociable space for eating, drinking, and gathering. Its gently curved shape encourages easy conversation from end to end-unlike traditional linear seating, there's no need to lean forward or speak across others. It creates a more natural, comfortable flow for hosting and everyday family life alike
Drinks Area
Let’s face it-every kitchen needs a bar, right?
This bespoke design features curved doors, a built-in wine rack, integrated wine fridge, and plenty of glass storage. It's the perfect blend of style and function, making entertaining effortless and elegant.
Just one more reason to consider incorporating a dedicated bar area when commissioning your next kitchen design.
Island Working Side
This side of the island is cleverly designed to conceal the everyday essentials-integrated bin, dishwasher, pull-out tea towel and soap storage-while providing generous drawer space for additional storage. A seamless, functional solution that keeps the kitchen looking effortlessly tidy and refined.
Larders and Storage
This large kitchen pantry larder provides generous storage for dried foods, cereals, and everyday essentials. Thoughtfully designed with dedicated bread and cake drawers, it also features bespoke storage racks on the back of the doors-ideal for spices, jars, and condiments. A beautifully organised solution that keeps everything neatly in place and within easy reach.
Extractor Canopy
​This canopy conceals the extractor within an elegant feature wall unit, seamlessly blending form and function. It’s finished with simple corbel brackets for a classic, understated detail that complements the overall design.
Oils and Spice Pullouts
Oils and spices should be right where you need them-at the heart of your cooking space. These handy pull-out racks are designed to do exactly that, keeping your most-used ingredients neatly organised and within arm’s reach.
Dovetailed Stained Oak Drawers
For this project, we used traditional dovetailed drawers, fitted with full-extension soft-close runners-as standard, of course. This particular drawer also includes a bespoke cutlery insert, keeping everyday utensils neatly organised and easy to access.
Glazed Display Cabinets
Glazed wall units in this kitchen design add a visually pleasing focal point, beautifully showcasing the warmth of the stained oak interiors. Whether day or night, the integrated lighting within these cabinets brings a soft, inviting glow-adding charm, depth, and a touch of sophistication to the space.
